BUYING GUIDE

Wall Oven Buying Guide

1. Choose the Right Size

Wall ovens come in 24", 27", and 30" widths. Measure your existing cutout carefully — 30" is the most popular size and offers the widest selection. If upgrading from a smaller size, check that your cabinetry can accommodate the change.

2. Single vs. Double vs. Combo

Single ovens work well for smaller households, while double ovens are ideal for entertaining and holiday cooking. Microwave-oven combos save space by stacking both appliances in one cutout — perfect for kitchens without a separate microwave location.

3. Convection Matters

True convection (also called European convection) uses a third heating element with the fan for the most even heat distribution. Standard fan convection simply circulates existing hot air. For serious bakers and roasters, true convection is worth the upgrade.

4. Consider Steam & Speed Ovens

Steam ovens preserve nutrients and moisture for healthier cooking, while speed ovens combine microwave and convection to cook up to 4x faster. Both are excellent companion ovens paired with a traditional wall oven for maximum flexibility.
